1. Should OLT and core electronics be included in the contractor’s procurement scope, or will they be owner-furnished?
OLT and Electronics should be included in the contractor’s procurement scope.
2. Does Santa Ana IT have a preferred OEM for OLTs/ONTs/splitters, or may the contractor propose an approved equivalent solution?
Adtran and ComScope are preferred, or equivalent, Proposal should comply with 2 C.F.R 200.322 and Executive Order 14005 Ensuring the future is made in all of America by all of America’s workers (Jan 25, 2021)
3. The RFP indicates a constant per-foot unit rate. Should restoration and traffic control be fully embedded within that rate?
Yes.
4. Are the provided KMZ and plan sheets considered Issued for Construction, or is further design validation expected?
KMZ and Plan sheets are issued for construction
5. Is PE-stamped documentation required prior to construction, or only as part of final completion documentation?
PE-stamped is required when project is completed
6. What splice loss thresholds and OTDR wavelengths are required for final acceptance?

7. The pricing matrix provided with the RFP documents appears to be missing the fields required to provide unit pricing. Could you please clarify if this is the correct document or if an updated version is available?
Unit pricing is to be determined by contractor.
